La Commission trans de PolitiQ-queers solidaires, de même que tous les groupes, organismes et associations signataires qui se sont alliés, vous invite à un grand rassemblement pacifique devant les bureaux montréalais du Directeur de l'état civil du Québec. CETTE ACTION VISE À FACILITER LES CHANGEMENTS DE NOM et DE MENTION DE SEXE des personnes transidentifiées au Québec.
C'est une action qui concerne tout le monde (voir le texte de revendications ci-bas), alors nous invitons tous nos allié-es de la communauté trans, queer, féministe, gaie, bisexuelle et lesbienne, antiraciste, de gauche, etc., à venir.

The Trans Commission of PolitiQ-Queers Solidaires, as well as the groups, organizations, and associations who have come together, invite you to a peaceful gathering in front of the Montreal office of the Director of Civil Status of Québec. THIS ACTION WILL CALL FOR EASIER ACCESS TO LEGAL CHANGE OF NAME AND SEX DESIGNATION for trans-identified people in Québec.
This action concerns everyone (see our attached manifesto) and we are therefore inviting all our allies in the trans, queer, feminist, lesbian, gay, bisexual, anti-racist, left etc. communities to come and join us.
THIS WILL BE THE FIRST EVENT OF ITS KIND IN QUÉBEC and it won't be the last! Come in large numbers!
The gathering will be on Thursday, June 17, starting at 3:30 p.m., at 2050, De Bleury, at the corner of Président-Kennedy (metro Place-des-Arts).
