Previously the Mayday committee, the committee which had the mandate to organize the mobilization and the event of the Monteal Anticapitalist Mayday protest. In Fall 2015, the committee was renamed in order to regroup the organization of CLAC actions.
The Montreal Anicapitalist Mayday protest of each year is the only mandatory mobilization of the organization, meaning that it is written in the re-founding principles of CLAC-Montreal voted in 2011. In 2015, the committee received the additional mandate to promote reflection and discussion on the current repression(since the P-6 bylaw) and how to maintain the mobilization and adapt our resistance strategies to this context.
